At Poland Spring, we are in a special position to provide clean, safe drinking water to the people of Haiti. Within days of the earthquake, our committed employees, working closely with our partners at AmeriCares and the American Red Cross, moved over 70 truckloads of water – over 2 million bottles – from Maine to staging areas in Florida. From there, the water was moved by air and sea to the people of Haiti.
We are also supplying water to medical airlifts through the great work of Partners in Health and the National Organization for the Advancement of Haitians.
The suffering in Haiti, however, remains great. Please support the vital and ongoing work of our non-profit partners by following the links below. We will do our part to keep clean Maine water flowing to those in need and will post updates from our team and from our partners as necessary.
